Overview

Inventory Controller

Location: Mansfield

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are recruiting an Inventory Controller to join our business in Mansfield on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and warehouse experience to progress their career in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor asset usage, condition, and lifecycle, scheduling maintenance and repairs as required
  • Conduct regular audits and physical inventories to ensure accurate asset tracking
  • Implement and manage asset tagging and tracking systems
  • Carry out regular safety inspections, maintaining a safe and organised warehouse environment
  • Document and report any inventory discrepancies, taking appropriate corrective action
  • Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of products, materials, and equipment
Experience and Skills
  • Good standard of education
  • Previous experience in asset management and/or warehouse operations
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the warehouse for extended periods
  • Confidence using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and related tools
