Qualifications

  • Specialty trainee in Respiratory medicine nearing competency in bronchoscopy.
  • Non UK graduates without MRCP to provide written evidence of training.
  • Experience of teaching and involvement in research and audits.

Responsibilities

  • Attend NOLCP clinics and the multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Assist in procedures, ensuring training opportunities for foundation doctors.
  • Participate in patient recruitment for national pleural disease trials.

Skills

Good acute and general medical knowledge base
Evidence of managing acutely unwell patients
Advanced life support (ALS) certification
Confident in outpatient clinic setting
Experience of teaching medical students and junior doctors

Education

Membership of Royal College of Physicians
Specialty trainee in Respiratory Medicine
Hold current registration with licence to practice in GMC
