A distinguished educational institution in Repton is seeking a proactive individual to join their Maintenance team. The role focuses on fire door compliance and general maintenance tasks, ensuring the safety and upkeep of school buildings. The ideal candidate will have carpentry skills and a minimum City and Guilds Level 2 qualification. This is a full-time position with a salary of £31,000 per annum and generous benefits including leave and pension.
We are seeking a skilled and proactive individual to join our Maintenance team. This role combines two key responsibilities to ensure the safety and upkeep of our school buildings.
Work closely with the Fire Door Manager to deliver a prioritised rolling programme of inspections, repairs, and maintenance across the Repton Estate. Ensure all fire doors meet compliance standards in line with BS8214 and BS9999.
Support the wider department as required by carrying out joinery and other maintenance tasks. Help maintain the school’s buildings and estate to the highest standards.

Contract Type: All year round, fixed term contract for 18 months.
Hours of work: Full-time, 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.
Salary: £31,000 per annum
