With the support of a base salary, plus the opportunity for commission and bonuses, you will receive training and the backing of a district manager as you onboard. $42,000 - $48,000 Base Salary; PLUS Commissions and Bonuses, and a $2,000 signing bonus

Responsibilities

• Network with local businesses and homeowners to develop relationships and deliver the protection of Rural Mutual's product line
• Partner with clients and underwriters through the entire process of purchasing their insurance policy
• Provide exceptional customer service to all people
• Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction
• Keep sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report progress of marketing and sales efforts

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the insurance industry, insurance products, risk management profiles, and related state and federal regulations. Our training course will help new agents in these areas.
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office are desired
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, customer service skills, and analytical skills are required
• Licensed in property, casualty, and life insurance, or be committed to obtaining licenses within 60 days of being hired
• Time Management skills necessary
