About the position

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines hands-on site work with technical office-based tasks. You\'ll be responsible for the installation, investigation, and remediation of telemetry and ICA systems, as well as configuring RTUs and SCADA systems. The role offers a mix of practical engineering and technical configuration work, with regular travel to Ireland included.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain telemetry equipment (RTUs, comms panels, and related infrastructure).
• Diagnose, investigate, and remediate RTU issues, including configuration changes.
• Perform SCADA configuration updates.
• Carry out site surveys for ICA and telemetry systems, producing accurate asset records and recommendations.
• Produce clear post-remediation reports for RTU works.
• Conduct commissioning and site acceptance testing of RTUs and control systems.
• Prepare and follow safety-related documentation (e.g., RAMS).
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Experience required

• Practical experience with ICA, telemetry, or control systems.
• Knowledge of RTUs, SCADA, or related technologies (desirable).
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Willingness to travel, including regular visits to Ireland.
