Qualifications

  • Registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential.
  • Experience in inpatient settings is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong assessment and formulation skills are crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Join a team providing psychological support in crisis situations.
  • Supervise and train ward staff as part of duties.
  • Contribute to service development and MDT meetings.

Skills

Experience of working with a range of presentations
Ability to formulate complexity and risk
Excellent assessment and intervention skills
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
