Overview

Infrastructure Engineer SC Clearance VMware Azure Microsoft 365

My fantastic client in Farnborough is currently looking for a solid Infrastructure Engineer to come on board on a permanent basis. The role will be to provide Infrastructure support to the internal team as well as offering project support to some external customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve, and secure the clients multi-classification, virtualised, collaboration and development environments.
• Work with IT infrastructure colleagues to improve the clients 'Secure by Design' capabilities, internally and across its projects.
• Provide Infrastructure support to the client's public cloud SaaS offerings (Office 365) as well as project-based systems (public, private and hybrid clouds) in implementation and support lifecycles.
• Assist with monitoring and management of the client and project-based ticketing and alerting systems for new changes and security alerts.
• Maintain monitoring components in line with infrastructure developments.
• Ensure all platforms are patched in line with provider recommendations and the client's security policy.
• Maintain cutting edge knowledge and skills in the design and build of secure public, private, and hybrid cloud and network technologies.

This is a permanent role which requires you to be on site 4 days per week in Farnborough and for you to be either SC Cleared or eligible for SC Clearance. The salary for this role is £50-55k per annum.
