Industry Placement Coach

FTE Salary: up to £26,970.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)
Actual Salary: up to £24,004.71
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Promote the benefits of work placements to learners and employers
• Work with learners on a 1:1 basis and in groups
• Visiting students on placement at employer premises
• Maintain regular contact with employers during the learners’ placement
• Work closely with curriculum staff to monitor learner performance
• Complete a Health & Safety checklist of employer
• Track, monitor and provide feedback on learner progress
• Develop and maintain links with employers
• Administration and up-to-date records management

• Passion for developing learners’ employability skills; supportive and inspiring
• Ability to take initiative, mediate, persuade, and handle sensitive situations
• Travel ability and good IT skills
