About the job

Based Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, the In Room Dining Manager will provide an efficient and friendly service of food and beverage, ensuring guest and residents satisfaction is achieved throughout their In Room Dining experience.

As In Room Dining Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • To ensure the mise en place are completed for day/night shift and during service in order to provide an efficient service.
  • To ensure full knowledge of the In Room Dining menu and wine list in order to respond or amend guests requests to their full satisfaction.
  • To take orders in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner according to guest requirements and hotel standards.
  • To deliver service in guest rooms and residences according to hotel standards and guest requirements in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner.
  • To ensure that all service steps are performed in order to reach guest satisfaction and to comply with our Legendary Quality Standards.
  • To ensure that the In Room Dining department is kept clean and in appropriate order at all times in compliance with our Safe and Sound standards.
  • To perform on the job training in compliance with guest satisfaction surveys and hotel training plans, liaising with the F&B Manager.
  • To stay in consistent communication with Head Chef of the Restaurant to ensure menus are updated and accurate.
  • To build a strong relationship with Guest Relations department and assist them when needed.

As In Room Dining Manager, we expect from you:

  • To be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, afternoon and evening, (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
