Qualifications

  • Essential understanding of legal accounts and compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Confident communicator with fee earners and finance colleagues.
  • Solid knowledge of Solicitors' Accounts Rules, VAT, and AML.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word, with a systems-focused mindset.
  • Experience in client and office account management and daily bank reconciliations.
  • Ability to process payments including BACS, CHAPS, and international transfers.
  • Experience with billing support and ledger query resolution.
  • Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping is desirable.
