Qualifications

• Lead substation technical discussions with the client and internal teams.
• Utilise knowledge of substation project life-cycle to deliver client projects.
• Drive the safety in design ethos within projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery with engineering teams.
• Liaise with project management for resourcing forecasts.
• Build client relationships, understanding requirements and perspectives.

Skills

Experience with consultancy, contractor, or utility in the energy sector

Experience designing HV infrastructure

Understanding of electrical AC HV Plant infrastructure

Working knowledge of National Grid standards

Proposal/Bid development experience

Experience of design & site construction review

Experience with Control systems and transformers

Education

CDAE / LCDAE approval
