Job description

We are looking for an ambitious, up-and-coming HSSE Advisor to join our national team, ideally in Warrington or Manchester.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as a Trusted Advisor: Providing robust HSSE guidance for both office-based and field activities, ensuring our hybrid and site teams work safely and effectively.
  • Driving Project Success: Supporting project planning through CDM compliance, risk assessments, and safe systems of work, including active participation in design risk reviews.
  • Leading on Site: Undertaking inspections and audits to provide clear, actionable feedback that drives continuous improvement.
  • Cultivating Culture: Promoting a proactive safety mindset by investigating incidents to find root causes, sharing lessons learned, and delivering engaging HSSE training.
  • Managing Compliance: Supporting our facilities and management teams to ensure our workplaces remain secure, accessible, and environmentally responsible.
About You

We are looking for a proactive professional with a growth mindset and the confidence to challenge the status quo constructively.

Essential Requirements
  • A recognized Level 3 HSSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Construction).
  • Solid knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Proven experience within consultancy, engineering, or construction sectors.
  • A full UK driving license and the flexibility for regional travel.
Highly Desirable
  • A Level 6 qualification (Diploma/Degree) or working towards one.
  • Experience with CDM regulations specifically in the water, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Membership in a professional body like IOSH.
