We are partnered with a global law firm in their recruitment of an HR Operations Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover an upcoming period of maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Operations professional looking to step up into a management role.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the full employee life cycle across the UK, Europe, and Asia. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining data integrity within the HRIS system, and driving efficiencies within HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR Operations team across Europe and Asia, with direct line management of an HR Administrator.
  • Act as an Workday Champion, oversee data integrity and processes within the HRIS, ensuring accuracy across all employee life cycle transactions.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding experiences in partnership with stakeholders across multiple regions.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational workflows.
  • Partner with HR Managers, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and other teams to ensure smooth delivery of services.
  • Oversee GDPR compliance for HR systems and manage the HR Data Inventory Register.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including background check providers.
  • Support time tracking upgrades and implementations across international offices.
  • Contribute to strategic HR initiatives alongside the HR leadership team.
  • Ensure compliance with audit standards and personnel file management.

Key Skills:

  • Solid experience in HR Operations, preferably in an international law firm or similar professional service environment.
  • Experience with Workday is essential
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the business.
  • Process improvement mindset and ability to provide data insights and analytics.
  • Experience in people management.
