Investigo are delighted to be supporting the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity with the appointment of a newly scoped HR, Governance and Operations Manager.
Every five minutes, someone in the UK loses a loved one to heart or lung disease, and The Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital Charity funds pioneering projects, cutting-edge equipment and vital research to support world-class experts to change the future for patients and families living with heart and lung disease.
As part of a small, supportive team and reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, the role will be incredibly varied, offering a large degree of autonomy, the opportunity to make a real, tangible impact across the organisation, and ongoing learning.
This role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
We are looking for a seasoned HR professional within the Charity / Not-for-Profit / Public sector with CIPD Level 5 (or substantial qualification by experience), who can proactively lead on day-to-day HR matters, independently support and coach line managers on best practice, and continually develop the organisation's policies and processes across HR, Governance and Operations to support its people and the charity’s ongoing success, including life-saving research and medical care.
Alongside a strong foundation in HR, successful candidates must demonstrate strong communication (written and verbal), organisational skills, a solution-focused mindset, the ability to prioritise a varied workload effectively, and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy.
