A transformative university in Chelmsford seeks a proactive HR Administrator to manage recruitment and employee lifecycle processes. This part-time role, with working days on Thursdays and Fridays, requires strong organisational and problem-solving skills. About the Role
As part of the HR Partnering Team, you will be the first point of contact for our customers providing advice to candidates, employees and managers on recruitment and selection procedures, and standard terms and conditions of employment. You will manage a wide range of employee lifecycle administrative processes, including advertising vacancies, processing contractual changes, family related leave, maintaining the Single Central Record (SCR), processing Disclosure and Barring Service checks and issuing contracts of employment. You will liaise extensively with our in-house Payroll and Pensions team and HR Systems team and provide excellent customer service for our stakeholders.
This is a busy and fast-paced role; therefore excellent problem-solving and organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload are crucial. The successful applicant will demonstrate a proactive approach and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, as well as the ability to take ownership of queries and processes, with a focus on customer service.
With two A levels or a Vocational qualification at NVQ level 3 or equivalent, you will have experience using HR systems/databases/e-recruitment and dealing with high volumes of queries, producing letters and updating spreadsheets.
This role is for two days to be worked Thursdays and Fridays.
