Overview

We’re looking for a new People Business Partner to join our People Team on a 12-month FTC.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support as a change agent and a strategic partner to the Retail Operations team. You should be confident and comfortable working at an operational level to deliver the people plan.

You must be people focused with a strong sense of ownership and accountability in this role, and experience of nurturing a collaborative relationship with the operations team will be key to your success.

Responsibilities
  • Business partner the Head of Retail and Divisional Managers to support operational excellence.
  • Partner with business leaders and execute long and short-term people strategies that directly support and enable business objectives and the delivery of the wider business strategy.
  • Create an inclusive work environment in line with our culture.
  • Champion the ED&I agenda across your business area.
  • Provide coaching to the operations team for initiatives and plans related to succession planning, career path development and performance management.
  • Be a champion for organisational change and manage change initiatives with minimal operational risk to the business.
  • Provide coaching guidance and support to management across a range of ER issues, managing any complex cases to mitigate risk to the business.
  • Coach, upskill and guide managers to deal with their own people issues.
  • Drive employee engagement on site, identifying any specific site issues and coming up with creative solutions.
  • Analyse people data to identify trends that can drive positive organisational culture.
  • This list is not extensive, and you will be expected to fulfil additional responsibilities as per business requirements.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Proven track record at HR Business Partner level, or Senior HR Advisor looking for a step up.
  • Proven experience working on strategic people plans.
  • CIPD qualified.
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and come up with creative solutions.
  • Confidence and ability to challenge, initiate and manage change.
  • Has the ability to prioritise and work under own initiative.
  • A full UK driving license, with no more than 6 points.
