A client in the East Midlands is seeking a Housing Standards Team Leader to oversee the improvement and management of housing standards. The role includes managing teams, processing complaints, and ensuring compliance with housing standards policies. Candidates should have relevant certifications and experience in a Local Authority setting. This is an initial 3-month contract position with competitive rates.
Our client, based in the East Midlands are looking for a Housing Standards Team Leader to support the improvement and upkeep of housing standards and conditions in the private sector. They need someone to manage, support and develop the Housing Standards and Private sector Licensing Teams, ensure that the housing standards service is delivered smoothly and efficiently in line with policies and procedures and deal with complex cases and complaints about housing standards.
The need someone who has direct experience leading a Private Sector housing Team in a Local Authority as well as be Certified member of the Chartered Institute of Housing, Certificate in Housing Health and Safety Rating System competency and Experience of resolving complex housing disrepair issues in the privately managed sector.
