Job description
Overview

The housekeeper is an integral member of the team who will work alongside the Nursing team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, a functional working environment and adequate stock levels for units with a high turnover of patients requiring a high volume of stock.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness of all clinical equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment and the clean room / mop room environment is in good working order at all times and report appropriately if not.
  • Maintain clinic equipment in good working order and liaise with Ebme for repair of faulty equipment. Ensure PAT testing of all equipment is up to date.
  • Maintain Health and Safety in the workplace and complete risk assessments and electrical checks as required.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels in high turnover units. Report any issues with stock.
