A leading hotel chain in Brighton is seeking an experienced Assistant Chief Engineer to manage maintenance issues and ensure the hotel operates smoothly. This role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and knowledge of HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams and projects, performing safety inspections, and developing conservation programmes. Qualifications

  • Strong background in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Extensive knowledge of 4 pipe FCU systems needed.
  • Knowledge of Centralised HVAC and Chillers preferred.
  • Experience in managing a team of at least 5 people.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintenance issues in the hotel.
  • Conduct daily checks around the hotel premises.
  • Maintain hotel fixtures to ensure safety standards.
  • Implement energy conservation programmes.
  • Oversee renovation projects and contractors.
