A specialist accommodation services provider in Greater London is seeking a Project Worker to provide practical support to individuals facing homelessness. The ideal candidate will manage communication, conduct thorough client assessments, and assist clients in understanding their rights. Responsibilities include engaging with clients through various communication methods and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate positive outcomes for individuals in need.
As a Project Worker you will be responsible for providing practical support to individuals accommodated in various specialist accommodation services delivered by Haringey. This means delivering face‑to‑face, virtual and telephone‑based support work to help people affected by homelessness secure positive housing, health, employment and wellbeing outcomes.
As a Project Worker you will support people by completing comprehensive client assessments, safety planning and key working. You will work with people to identify their personal aims and support them to turn assessments into practical action plans. You will be responsible for supporting people to understand their rights and responsibilities to maintain their accommodation. You will work in partnership with others to facilitate move‑on for homeless single adults.
To do this you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including emergency Covid‑19 accommodation services, Pathway services, the Housing Needs Team at Homes for Haringey and a range of specialist external partners providing health, immigration and move‑on support.
