Overview

Locum Homelessness Lawyer – Remote Working – Midlands

Note: This role is a locum position with remote working, based in the Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Work within the Housing team, solely dealing with Homelessness legislation matters
• Manage Homeless Law’s casework, including delivering high-quality legal advice
• Draft and organise homeless applications
• Deal with a caseload including a high volume of Judicial Review cases issued by individuals in relation to homelessness appeals for partner Councils and Pre Action Protocols

Requirements / Qualifications

• Prior experience in a Local Authority or Private Practice background
• Broad working understanding of Homelessness matters

Contract Details

• Duration: 3-6 months rolling contract
• Working Pattern: Full time
• Working Arrangement: Remote working mainly
• Hourly Rate: up to £50 per hour Umbrella

Remuneration and Benefits

An attractive hourly rate of up to £50 per hour Umbrella is offered for this position dependent on experience. This is a great position for those looking to gain experience of working in the Public Sector; previous experience is desirable but not essential.
