Higher Level Teaching Assistant

£24,217.80 per annum

37.5 hours per week

Netherlea School seeks to appoint a caring and enthusiastic HLTA. Our school provides education to young people aged 8 -18 years with SEMH difficulties who mainly live in our residential homes. This is a challenging yet rewarding role where you can flourish within a team focussed on making a positive difference to our young people's lives.

We offer a high degree of differentiation and support within very small teaching groups. This allows all our young people to make good progress, often overcoming previous negative experiences of education.

Essential

  • Experience of working in a challenging environment and understanding the challenges that face young people with ACEs.
  • Willingness to promote and support our ethos, values and aims.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Desirable

  • You will ideally have experience working with pupils with additional support needs / special educational needs.
  • Good sense of humour.
