HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter - Days- £52,800

Location: Reading

Salary: £37,500 to £52,800 OTE depending on shift and overtime

Hours: 40 per week

Shift Options: Day 08:00-16:30

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

The Role

You'll carry out servicing, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on HGVs to keep them safe, compliant, and on the road. Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
  • Carrying out servicing and preventative maintenance on HGVs

Essential
  • Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI)
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to identify worn and faulty components in line with DVSA standards
  • Full UK driving licence
