Job summary

A well-established automotive dealership in Middleton is seeking an experienced HGV Technician. The role offers a salary of up to £46,500 with OTE circa £50,000, alongside benefits including brand training and a company pension scheme. Responsibilities include servicing and repairing HGVs, completing documentation, and liaising with service departments. Ideal candidates will hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and possess excellent mechanical knowledge. This is a full-time position with a shift pattern of 4 on, 4 off.

Qualifications

  • Previous working experience in HGV roles is required.

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive well-established commercial main dealership based in the Manchester area.

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £46,500 with OTE of circa £50,000 with working hours of: 4 on, 4 off (7am-7pm).

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full‑time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Typical Duties
  • Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
  • Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
  • Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
  • Completion of MOT preparation
Requirements
  • Previous working experience within the role
  • Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge
  • A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
