Qualifications

• Have experience with daily deliveries and transportation of goods on 7.5t or Class 2 vehicles.
• Possess strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Exhibit excellent communication and time management skills.
• Have a UK CPC card and UK digi card.
• No more than 6 penalty points, only SP codes allowed.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

Job Description

HGV C (Class 2) Drivers required urgently, Working Days. Start times between 05:00 / 08:30. Pay Up-to £19.05 per hour & (PAYE ONLY). Ongoing work available / some trunking routes available / Temp to perm Available.

This is a temporary ongoing role for an HGV C (Class 2) Driver with Millison Chase Limited working within our client’s depot.

As an HGV C, Class 2 Driver you will be responsible for daily deliveries, to hubs RDC or NDC’s or collections from businesses using a curtain sided or solid sided truck, ensuring the safe transportation of goods and maintaining accurate records of delivery schedules.

Shifts can be long but are in keeping with in law and legislation.

The job itself will consist of delivering various loads driving a rigid class 2 or 7.5t lorry, delivering business to business on varied routes 1 to 15 drops with occasional trunks or collections.

There is some handball on this job with load security strapping etc and you will use a tale lift and pallet truck or be expected to move caged goods when required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV C (Class 2) license

Pay

Days Mon to Fri £15.00 per hour

Weekends £17.00 per hour

This is equivalent to between £16.81 & £19.05 pay when you factor in holiday pay.
