HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Driver - General Haulage - West Auckland (Bishop Auckland)
Ongoing Work - Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturday) - Competitive Pay

The Best Connection are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers / Trampers for a client based in West Auckland (Bishop Auckland). Our client provides general haulage services across the UK, operating a variety of freight and distribution routes.

The Role:

  • Multi-drop deliveries across the North East region as a Tramper

  • General haulage duties with minimal handballing

  • Working as part of a wider UK-wide haulage operation

  • Tramping shifts Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays

  • The Tramper will be expected to manage their own route efficiently and safely

The Candidate:

  • Minimum 1 year of commercial HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving experience

  • Valid Cat C+E licence

  • CPC qualification

  • Digital tachograph card

  • Reliable, professional, and safety-focused Tramper

Pay Rates:

  • £15.25 per hour - standard rate

  • £16.25 per hour - night rate (20:00-06:00)

  • £17.25 per hour - Saturday

Requirements:

  • Induction must be completed prior to any shifts starting
