Job summary

A healthcare recruitment agency is seeking an experienced night-time care assistant to join a friendly team delivering high-quality care to elderly residents. This role requires flexible shifts from 21:00 to 07:00 and pays £12.75 per hour. Ideal candidates will have an Enhanced DBS Certificate and a minimum of 3 months UK-based care experience.

Qualifications

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 12 months.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training certificates.
  • Referenceable work history with at least 3 months of UK-based care experience.

Overview

Are you a night owl with a passion for care? We have flexible night shifts available, offering weekly pay for the hours you work. As an experienced night-time care assistant, you will work alongside an friendly and experienced team to deliver the very best care. The elderly residents are living with various age-related illnesses, with the home predominately providing care to those living with various levels of Dementia.

Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care to residents.
  • Assisting residents with mobility (including use of Hoists).
  • Undertaking frequent observation checks throughout the night and recording them correctly.
  • Repositioning residents as required by their care plans.
  • Responding promptly and professionally to residents’ needs throughout the night.
  • Undertaking domestic duties as required.
  • Ensuring that health and safety procedures are always followed.
Qualifications
  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the Update Service.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training certificates.
  • Full up-to-date CV.
  • A referenceable work history with at least 3 months of UK-based care experience within a care or nursing home.

  • You will be working from 21:00 to 07:00 on night shift, required from Monday through to Sunday.
  • You will be paid £12.75 per hour.
