NEMS have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The Healthcare Assistant performs the first assessment for walk-in patients and is responsible (with support) for assessing patient safety to wait. The role requires completion of an extended competency, including red flag analysis and escalation requirements.
NEMS CBS is a not-for-profit organisation delivering integrated urgent care and urgent primary care services to over 1 million patients. We invest in our people with a programme of learning and development, successfully developing Urgent Care Practitioners and Advanced Clinical Practitioners. We operate three main services: (1) Integrated Urgent Care across Nottinghamshire; (2) Urgent Primary Care within the A&E Department at QMC; (3) A 24-hour walk-in urgent primary care service adjacent to Kings Mill Hospital A&E, Mansfield.
