Overview

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership provides Clinical Logistics Transport Services across all Health Boards in Wales via its Health Courier Service, based in the Wrexham Area and serving the North Wales Area (Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board). The service sorts, delivers and collects items weekly and transports blood products and pathology in accordance with applicable regulations. Core services operate Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, with a small range of services available 24 hours a day. We are seeking Driver/Storekeeper staff to join the service.

Job responsibilities
  • Maintain stock items in stores centres and ensure safe and secure transport, distribution and replenishment of NHS Pathology, Blood/Blood Products, secure and non-secure stationery, laundry, mail/records and stock items such as medical consumables distributed to primary health care sites (hospitals, GP practices, pharmacies, opticians, dental surgeries) across NHS Wales.
  • Operate in a customer-focused environment, handling a range of duties to support NHS Wales services.
