Want to play a key role in shaping safety culture across multiple sites, working closely with teams on the ground and helping drive improvements that really matter?

This is a great opportunity to join a growing organisation in the waste and recycling sector, during an exciting period of positive change.

The business is seeking an individual who can provide operational support with daily safety activities and assist in driving continual strategic improvement across a small network of local sites.

It is a role that would suit someone already managing health and safety, or an advisor ready to take the next step.

Responsibilities
  • Playing an active role across multiple sites, helping teams work safely and confidently while keeping standards on track.
  • Getting out on the ground to spot risks, carry out checks and support improvements through practical, solutions‑focused safety actions.
  • Shaping clear, usable safety guidance, from method statements to safe systems of work, that genuinely support daily operations.
  • Bringing safety to life through training, toolbox talks and coaching, while helping manage key areas of compliance in a practical, proactive way.
Qualifications
  • Experience within the waste, recycling, manufacturing or a wider industrial sector with a practical, hands‑on approach.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
  • Confidence engaging with teams across multiple sites and influencing at all levels.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum; additional qualifications beneficial.
