Job Description / Key Purpose of the Job:

The Head of Machine Learning will lead research and development in generative models, focusing on multimodal generation, especially video, audio, and language models. This role requires technical expertise and leadership to guide teams toward innovative results, designing ML architectures, managing training pipelines, and implementing research into production systems that coordinate visual, auditory, and textual inputs for creative workflows.

Key Responsibilities / Job Duties

• Research & Development Leadership: Define strategic roadmaps, lead research in multimodal models, optimize training pipelines, and drive innovation while balancing scientific and business goals.
• Team Building & Development: Build and mentor a diverse ML team, set performance metrics, foster collaboration, and attract top talent.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, engineering, and creative teams to integrate ML innovations, communicate complex concepts, and align research with business needs.
• Technical Strategy & Vision: Contribute to overall technical strategy, evaluate emerging tech, establish standards, and engage with the research community.

Job Requirements / Must Haves

• Leadership, mentorship, and communication skills
• Proven experience leading ML R&D teams or projects
• Advanced degree in CS, ML, AI, or related field
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and Python
• Understanding of AI ethics, fairness, and interpretability
• Strategic thinking and vision communication skills

Additional Skills / Nice to Have

• PhD or published research in top AI venues
• Experience deploying ML models in production
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and MLOps
