Following a significant period of growth and investment, this is an exciting opportunity to lead one of Calderdale College's most diverse and forward‑thinking faculties, encompassing Art & Design, Performing Arts, Hair & Beauty, Digital, Hospitality and Catering while overseeing our state‑of‑the‑art Digital facilities at Mill Studios, located within the historic Dean Clough Mills.

Mill Studios houses cutting‑edge spaces including a TV studio, Games Design studio and eSports suite, providing students with industry standard learning in the heart of Halifax's thriving creative industries community. Across provision from Level 1 to Level 3, including our outstanding T Levels in Digital and Broadcast Media, students benefit from an ambitious, career‑focused curriculum enriched through live briefs, industry placements and work experience, creating a dynamic and immersive learning environment.

About the role

As Head of Faculty, you will provide inspirational leadership and strategic direction across a vibrant portfolio of creative and enterprise‑focused programmes. You will empower staff to deliver outstanding, industry relevant teaching and learning, ensuring students develop the skills, confidence and creativity needed to succeed in employment or higher education.

You will:

• Lead and inspire high‑performing teams to deliver exceptional quality and learner experience.
• Shape a forward‑thinking curriculum that reflects industry trends, digital innovation and enterprise.
• Build strong employer, university and community partnerships to enhance progression opportunities.
