Our client is a specialist residential property practice serving the Midlands. With a dynamic, expert-led approach, it delivers a streamlined and personalised conveyancing experience across a wide range of residential property transactions.

It is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Head of Conveyancing to lead its growing department.

About the Role
  • Lead and manage a team of 30 staff across three offices
  • Oversee all aspects of residential conveyancing, ensuring technical excellence and compliance
  • Report directly to senior management and contribute to strategic decision-making
  • Primarily based in Solihull, with occasional travel to London and Middlesbrough
  • Support a full spectrum of residential property work, including:
  • Sales and purchases
  • First-time buyer matters
  • Freehold and leasehold transactions
  • New build and off‑plan acquisitions
  • Right to Buy and shared ownership
  • Transfers of equity and gifting arrangements
About You
  • Qualified legal professional with substantial conveyancing and managerial experience
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to drive departmental growth
  • Excellent technical knowledge of residential property law
  • Confident decision-maker with excellent communication and organisational skills
