Your new role: We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent experienced Hard Services Manager to join our Renfrewshire and Dumfries & Galloway schools account. This role is on site. The standard hours of work are 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday 08:00–16:00).
We’re seeking a hands-on leader with a recognised trade qualification in gas, electrical, plumbing or joinery, and proven experience managing a team of skilled engineers. The successful candidate will oversee 8 direct reports and be responsible for coordinating planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive breakdowns using a CAFM system. Strong leadership and technical expertise are essential to drive performance and service delivery.
The Successful candidate will supervise the implementation of robust services to ensure smooth functioning and exceptional standards of service excellence, aligned with the requirements of our Renfrewshire and Dumfries & Galloway Schools Account. Amey delivers facilities and estate management services to the Scottish Schools Private Finance Initiative across our Complex Facilities portfolio (Europe’s largest educational Private Finance Initiative).
