Role Overview

As a Finance Graduate trainee at CBRE's Global Workplace Solutions (GWS), you will complete a 3‑year rotational programme designed to provide you exposure to and experience in core functions of Finance and Accounting across the GWS business. You will also be exposed to high level business partnering with our operational leadership teams. You will undertake three one‑year placements across various finance functions, gaining invaluable insights and experience. Throughout the programme, you will pursue the ACA Level 7 Apprenticeship qualification. Study leave is provided for college attendance, and you will be supported by the next‑generation Learning & Development team and a dedicated Skills Coach to ensure that all aspects of the apprenticeship and ACA qualification are completed.

Responsibilities
  • Client‑focused rotation: Work closely with contract teams to carry out operational finance activities such as invoice pool management, WIP tracking, and performance reporting at a contract level. Build detailed operational knowledge of reporting, financial systems and business partnering.
  • Core‑finance rotation: Develop expertise in key finance reporting processes such as month‑end reporting and key financial controls such as posting journals and performing reconciliations.
  • Advanced Accountancy: In the final year rotation, focus on advanced accountancy skills such as performance analysis, issue resolution, project support and forecasting.
