Boku is a truly global company that takes pride in its diversity and thriving equal opportunity workplace.

We are looking for a Group Product Manager to focus on one of Boku’s critical operational and processing areas — this may be Pricing, Settlement, Accounts, Safeguarding, or another payment processing function. The role is central to ensuring Boku continues to build scalable, straight-through processing solutions that reduce manual work and enable sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Product Manager/Owner in back or middle office / operational payments processes, with a strong understanding of how payments are processed end-to-end within a business. This is a hands-on delivery role: you will own your area’s backlog and be accountable for taking requirements from discovery all the way through to delivery, stakeholder communication, and results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own a product area within Boku’s operational and processing domain (e.g., Pricing, Settlement, Accounts, Safeguarding).
  • Gather, assess, and write clear product requirements based on stakeholder needs and business priorities.
  • Work closely with Operations, Finance, Banking and Settlement, and Engineering teams to refine requirements into actionable backlog items.
  • Lead backlog refinement and estimation sessions with Engineering, ensuring clarity and prioritisation.
  • Provide end-to-end ownership of delivery: from requirements through development, testing, demos, and release.
  • Give regular progress updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency on status, risks, and timelines.
  • Demonstrate completed functionality through show-and-tells/demos to business stakeholders.
  • Support the creation of operationally excellent processes that enable scalable, automated payments workflows.
Key Skills and Competencies
  • Proven Product Owner/Product Management experience in payments, fintech, or financial services.
  • Knowledge of operational/back-office functions such as settlement, reconciliation, accounts, or safeguarding.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end payment processing flows.
  • Experience in writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
  • Skilled at backlog management, refinement, and prioritisation.
  • Comfortable running sprint ceremonies and working in Agile environments with tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Confident communicator able to provide structured updates and demos to stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to evaluate process efficiency and define scalable solutions.
