Graduate Estimator / Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering

Are you a recent graduate ready to launch your career in the civil engineering sector? We are partnered with a leading civil engineering company based in Dundee. Together we are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Graduate Estimator or Quantity Surveyor to join thier expanding commercial team.

Your Role:

Depending on your strengths and interests, you will be supported in either an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor role, working closely with senior professionals to:

As a Graduate Estimator, you will:

  • Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions

  • Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements

  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing

  • Support the bid team in delivering competitive and compelling proposals

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will:

  • Assist in managing project costs from inception to completion

  • Support subcontractor procurement, payments, and contract administration

  • Contribute to valuations, cost reporting, and financial planning

  • Help ensure projects are delivered on budget and in line with client expectations



What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field

  • Strong analytical, numeracy and communication skills

  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn

  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

  • Full UK driving licence (or working towards it) is desirable
