Description

I am currently working with an exciting business that is looking for a bright, driven, and likeable character to join their operations and planning team as a graduate trainee. This role is being created to drive succession planning within the business, and they are looking to hire and invest in strong graduate talent. The company aims to train and support the selected candidate to enable progression into various business areas, building a long-term career.

The key focus of the graduate trainee role will be to understand the production processes and supply chain involved within the company, particularly the core responsibilities of the planning team. This will include tasks such as:

  • Statistical data analysis and KPI management
  • Managing manufacturing timelines and processes
  • Project planning and management
  • Supporting and managing automated planning systems
  • Communicating with production and manufacturing teams
  • Driving and implementing change within manufacturing, supply chain, and technical teams

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong A-Levels and a minimum 2:1/First-class degree in Maths, Economics, or Business
  • High-level analytical and numerical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify patterns and trends in complex data sets
  • Strong numeracy skills and understanding of statistics
  • Influencing skills and initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure
