A global cloud services provider is seeking a Global Infrastructure Maintenance Manager to oversee the global patching process. The role involves leading a team, ensuring timely updates for cloud-hosted OpenShift clusters, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Strong project management skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience planning and executing schedules are essential for success. This position is based in Leeds and requires a candidate who can commute.
Position Title : Global Infrastructure Maintenance Manager
Reports to : Senior Vice President GCS
Remuneration : 70k-80k per annum dependent on experience and qualifications
Location : Leeds UK (candidate must live within a commutable distance to the Leeds office)
This role is a senior and strategic management position within the Naviam Global Cloud Services (GCS) organization reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Cloud Services and is located within the Service Management division of the Cloud and Technical Services organization. This is a global team position and carries an allowance for time worked outside the postholder’s regular working day hours to meet with colleagues and customers in different global territories if required.
This role will design manage and run how the global patching effort functions within Naviam owning the three‑year forward plan / Gantt of patching cycles, the compatibility matrix showing supported versions and all the internal stakeholder and external client communication channels. This role is not technical and would suit a project manager, master scheduler / planner, manager, coordinator, communicator and facilitator. Client and stakeholder‑facing skills are essential. Autonomy and the ability to design processes, not just use them, are an advantage.
