Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Ashford is seeking an experienced engineer to install and commission bespoke machinery. The successful candidate will work primarily from the head office and travel to customer sites to provide technical support. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £40k per annum, with additional uplifts for overseas work requirements. Ideal candidates will have an HNC or higher in engineering and practical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of HNC in mechanical or electrical engineering required.
• Practical experience with machine assembly and inspection.
• Strong problem-solving skills to handle technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble heavy machinery at customer sites.
• Travel for installation, testing, and providing technical support.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning onsite.
