Global Brand Identity Manager

Location: London, SE1 9AX

Contract Type: Permanent, Salaried

We are recruiting for a Global Brand Identity Manager to join our AWESOME Brand Identity Team!

Responsibilities

As a Global Brand Identity Manager, you will bring Merlin Entertainments' visual identity to life across a diverse global portfolio of attractions and guest experiences. Working within the central Brand Identity team, you will:

  • Brand Design & Creative Application
    • Design and adapt visual assets, layouts, iconography, templates, and graphic systems aligned to brand guidelines.
    • Support creation of brand toolkits, illustrations, signage mock‑ups, campaign assets, and branded UI elements.
    • Translate brand guidelines into real‑world applications across attractions, digital platforms, marketing, and guest‑facing environments.
  • Brand Identity System Development
    • Contribute to the design and evolution of visual identity systems, including typography, colour, layout, and brand architecture.
    • Refresh and update brand playbooks, visual standards, and template libraries.
    • Produce visual examples and guidance for global teams to ensure consistent application.
  • Asset Production & Collaboration
    • Prepare and deliver production‑ready files for digital, print, signage, merchandise, and environmental applications.
    • Collaborate with internal creative, digital, retail, signage, interiors, and marketing teams.
    • Support external agencies with asset handover and execution requirements.
  • Brand Quality & Governance
    • Review creative outputs for alignment with visual guidelines.
    • Help manage and maintain brand asset libraries.
    • Participate in brand audits and recommend refinements.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience in graphic design, brand identity design, visual communication, or creative production (in‑house or agency).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing brand identity systems, layout work, typography, and real‑world brand applications.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); After Effects, Figma, or 3D tools are a plus.
  • Experience designing assets for print, digital interfaces, signage, environments, or merchandising preferred.
  • Understanding of brand systems, typography, accessibility, and scalable design principles.
  • Ability to interpret guidelines and apply them creatively and consistently.
  • Design‑relevant degree or equivalent experience.
