We are helping a dynamic and growing IT consultancy, partnering with a prestigious public sector client. We're seeking a talented and proactive GIS Consultant to join their team for a 6-month contract.

The Role:

You will play a pivotal role in a critical system migration project, transitioning our client from their existing ESRI systems to a modern and robust QGIS platform. This is a highly consultative position where you will leverage your expertise to:

• Provide expert GIS consultancy, advising on best practices and optimal solutions.

• Lead and execute the migration of GIS data and functionalities from ESRI to QGIS.

• Collaborate closely with the client's team, ensuring a smooth and successful transition.

• Develop and implement QGIS-based solutions tailored to the client's specific needs.

About You:

• Proven experience as a GIS Consultant, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.

• Expert-level proficiency with QGIS and extensive experience in migrating from ESRI platforms.

• Solid understanding of GIS data management, spatial analysis, and mapping principles.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, agile team.

• NPPV clearance is essential for this role.
