Geography Teacher - Portsmouth

Start Date: October 2025
Contract: Long-Term (until December 2025, with potential to go permanent)
Pay: £160 - £240 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm | Full-Time
Location: Portsmouth

Supply Desk is working with a secondary school in Portsmouth to recruit a motivated and passionate Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from October 2025. This is a full-time, long-term position through to December 2025, with strong potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

Role Responsibilities
  • Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
