Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, referral, and ongoing management.

• Undertake a range of clinical activities including face-to-face consultations, telephone and online appointments.

• Adhere to the practice's total triage system, ensuring patients are managed by the most appropriate clinician.

• Deliver care in line with current best practice, clinical policies, NICE guidance, and national standards.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the practice's clinical systems.

• Participate in practice clinical governance processes, including audit, significant event analysis, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Contribute to the training, supervision, and support of colleagues, including students, trainees, and members of the multi-disciplinary team.

• Engage with education and research opportunities aligned to the practice's ethos of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Provide clinical input into practice meetings and service development initiatives.

Professional Duties

• Maintain full registration with the GMC and comply with revalidation, appraisal, and CPD requirements.

• Work in accordance with the GMC's Good Medical Practice and the duties of a doctor.

• Maintain professional indemnity cover appropriate to the role.

• Adhere to all relevant practice policies, procedures, and protocols, including safeguarding, confidentiality, and information governance.
