General Manager – Historic Venue, Surrey, £80k + Bonus

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced General Manager to join the team at a stunning Historic Venue in Surrey. This is a unique site with multiple food and beverage outlets and so we are seeking a senior leader with a real passion for food and service. It’s an incredible opportunity for someone who is looking for an exciting new challenge!

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • To build a high performing team by managing and motivating staff
  • Manage and develop the catering, bar services and events to deliver a financially viable and high-quality operation
  • Accountable for all financial controls, budgets, and reports
  • Continually reviewing and implementing processes to effect improved efficiencies
  • Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met
  • Focus on guest satisfaction delivering 5 star service and product
EXPERIENCE:
  • Proven track record in operational management of a large scale or multifaceted venue
  • Experience working within a food led business
  • Financial management – able to run a P&L
  • Strong leadership style
  • Great communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety, compliance and legal regulations
  • Hands on and not scared to get stuck in!
