Overview

£25 - £35 Per hour

Responsibilities
  • Provide tutoring and academic support to GCSE level students
  • Create lesson plans and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve
  • Prepare students for GCSE exams through targeted revision and exam practise
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure student success
Qualifications
  • A relevant degree in the subject area
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.)
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the subject area
  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience at GCSE level
  • Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students
  • Organisational and time-management skills
  • Master’s degree in the subject area
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis.

May require travel to students' homes or tutoring centres.

Flexible working hours based on student availability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
