Overview

Self-Employed Heating Engineers - Service & Repair Contract


Location: NP Postocde


Contract: POBL Housing Association


Pay: Up to £275/day + Call-Out Rates


Start Date: Immediate


Contract Length: Ongoing



The Role


  • Carry out Landlord Gas Safety Checks and central heating repairs (all parts supplied).

  • Work within a small local radius.

  • Minimum commitment of 3 days per week (Monday-Friday).

  • Pre-booked appointments managed via the client's PDA system.

  • Full PPE and kit provided.

  • Long-term, ongoing contract.



Rates & Payment


  • £250/day (8 am - 5 pm).

  • Optional Call-Out: 1 week in 4

  • £550/week or

  • £50 per weeknight, £150 per weekend day.

  • Payment Terms: Weekly, 1 week in arrears.



Requirements


  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified heating engineer.

  • Current ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1.

  • Own van and tools.

  • Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser.

  • £2m Public Liability Insurance.

  • Valid DBS check (dated within 12 months).
