Overview

Qualified Gas Engineer Required. A Lings Group Limited is a family-run business specializing in domestic and commercial skilled trades, with a strong reputation as emergency contractors. We have grown from a single van to a fleet of 20 and are seeking qualified and experienced gas engineers to join our team. Our clients are exclusively private customers, and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service. This is a permanent position for a qualified gas engineer.

Location and Salary

We are recruiting across all South London postcodes, with a salary range of £37,000 to £47,500, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work across various locations within the M25 (South).

Requirements
  • ACS qualifications
  • Clean full UK driving license (up to 3 points acceptable)
  • Unvented G3 qualification (desirable)
  • CSCS Skilled Trade Card (desirable)
  • Asbestos awareness certification (desirable)
  • Manual Handling certification (desirable)
  • Working at Heights certification (desirable)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Own hand tools
  • Valid DBS certificate
  • Two references from previous employers
Duties
  • Repairing leaks in copper, plastic pipework, and waste pipes
  • Understanding hot and cold water systems
  • Working with and understanding unvented hot water systems
  • Fault finding on Y Plan & S Plan systems
  • Understand Under Floor Heating
  • Working on all boiler manufacturers

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 45 hours per week (basic salary; call-out rota paid per job)

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Days: Monday to Friday (plus call-out rota)
