The Role

We’re looking for experienced Gas Engineers to carry out domestic gas metering and maintenance work as part of EDF’s national smart meter rollout. This is a customer-facing gas engineering role suited for a motivated, reliable, and technically skilled professional who takes pride in their workmanship.

What’s on Offer

• £38,000 (outside the M25)
• £39,000 (inside the M25)
• £500 attendance bonus paid every 6 months
• Productivity bonus: £15 per meter after 30 meters per week
• Optional Saturday work paid at £200 per day

What You’ll Be Doing

• Install and maintain domestic gas meters across residential properties
• Ensure all work is completed to industry safety, compliance, and quality standards
• Work independently using smart scheduling systems, digital tools, and mobile support
