Functional Assessor Role – City of Westminster, London

Role: Functional Assessor

Location: Marylebone (on-site) with possibility of remote/onsite depending on assignment

What the role involves
  • Carry out up to 5 client assessments per day, using telephone, video or face-to-face formats.
  • Gather information about how a person’s disability or health condition affects daily life.
  • Listen to experiences, ask questions, and produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine eligibility for benefits.
  • Understand that the DWP makes the final decision; your role is to gather information and produce the report.
What is on offer
  • Excellent starting salary at £46,215 per annum
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (full-time standard); full-time and part-time options available (3–5 days per week)
  • 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell 5 additional days
  • NMC or HCPC fees paid and CPD revalidation support provided
